HAD supports institutions and communities assessing climate risks and building resilience. Our work considers the effects of climate change on livelihoods and the systems people rely on.
Climate risk and vulnerability
We conduct impact, vulnerability and risk assessments. In Hirshabelle and Puntland, HAD assessed climate risks affecting agro-pastoral communities for the ACALS project. Our cross-border assessment considered livelihoods, mobility, markets and conflict dynamics.
Planning for resilience
Our services also include climate innovation strategies, support for climate financing and carbon-emission management, and approaches that strengthen local adaptive capacity.
